What stories of change have you read lately?

As the length of our days changes, reading stories of new beginnings appeals

Whether light is lengthening or shrinking in your part of the world, we feel the shoulder of the shift the most. In this middle ground, we may gain or lose minutes a day and suddenly there’s an extra hour of light — or dark — we haven’t yet grown used to.

During these phases of the year, I’m pulled to stories of transformation. What books have you read lately where characters reinvent themselves, make a dramatic new start, or walk away from their current lives entirely?
