Welcome home! I'm drooling over your citizenship outfit!
I have many questions, that I trust in time, I will discover the answers too. (For instance, how did you pick Berlin? How did you find a flat to stay put in?) For now, I am rejoicing with your news!
Berlin was inevitable as soon as I first visited. All I thought that whole visit was „How can i live here?“
The flat was tricky, and it‘s MUCH harder now in Berlin than it was. The short answer is persistence got us our flat, but we had to live in a furnished place the first 8 months while we got visas and then jobs before we could get a long-term let.
